Principal's Message
Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year! Broadous prides itself in offering a warm and welcoming environment where students feel safe and supported at all times. We have many resources available for our students and families as we navigate the lasting effects of the pandemic and continue to define what our new "normal" looks like. All children receive daily lessons in Social Emotional Wellness and learn coping strategies to help work through anxiety and stress. We encourage you to call our main office for more information.
We are excited to continue our Creative Arts Network program this year. All K–5th grade students receive classes in dance, music, visual arts, and theatre. Students in grades 3–5 have the opportunity to sign up for orchestra, and our youngest children are introduced to Guitars in the Classroom. Our certified PE teacher offers physical education to our 4th and 5th graders, and we are very excited to announce our new All Kids Bike program, available to students in K–2. Children in K–5 continue with weekly classes in technology through the Computerwisekids program. We offer after school programs in engineering, coding, robotics, baile folklórico, and theatre.
Our aim is to make sure as many students as possible reach a 96% attendance rate, or greater. That means missing no more than seven days for the entire year. Please make sure you are sending your children to school every single day and on time, unless they are feeling unwell or have a temperature. During these unprecedented times, we must work extra hard to keep all students healthy. We have rapid antigen tests available in the main office for you to take home for your use.

¡Bienvenidos al año escolar 2022-2023! Broadous se enorgullece en ofrecer un ambiente acogedor donde los estudiantes se sienten seguros y apoyados en todo momento. Tenemos muchos recursos para ofrecer a nuestros estudiantes y familias a medida que pasamos por los efectos de la pandemia y continuamos definiendo como se ve nuestro nuevo "normal". Todos nuestros niños reciben lecciones diarias sobre el bienestar de salud mental y aprenden estrategias de acople para ayudarlos a sobresalir la ansiedad y el estrés.
