STEAM Magnet

Broadous Elementary offers a Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) magnet program in grades 3–5. The classes are designed to utilize innovative strategies and technology to engage students in investigation and discovery. This hands-on approach focuses on activities that allow students to engage in real world problems, actively participate in project-based assignments, and experience learning activities that lead to higher level thinking.

Interested students may apply at echoices.lausd.net in the fall for placement in the program for the following year.

Contact Parrish Higa, Magnet Coordinator, at (818) 896-5236 for more information.
